Tosha helps adults to relieve pain and infants and children to recover from birth trauma, allergies and developmental problems. Clients receive detailed education about their conditions and will be able to implement self-help techniques and life style changes into their daily lives
In California she is licensed as a massage therapist which allows her to legally use the techniques she learned at the European College of Osteopathy in Germany. Tosha primarily uses cranial and visceral approaches in her treatment. Currently she is studying Biodynamics with James Jealous and successfully integrates this highly effective approach into her treatments.
Tosha Walper was born and raised in Germany, where she graduated from physical therapy school and the European College of Osteopathy (COE). After 15 years in private practice, she moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2006 where she started a family.
orthopedic pain syndromes (neck- and back pain, joint pain etc.) post surgery and post injury recovery scoliosis sciatica neurological disorders, eg. Bell's Palsy migraine and tension headaches
temporomandibular joint dysfunction support during stressful transitions digestive complaints menstrual and menopausal complaints
Several childhood illnesses lead Tosha into the fields of holistic health, spirituality and movement. She discovered that allopathic health care could relieve her from symptoms, but would not promote HEALTH. In her quest for HEALTH, Tosha traveled extensively through Nepal, India and Australia studying yoga, meditation and mindfulness.
With the birth of her daughter, Tosha realized the importance of education for the well being of our children. She trained as a Waldorf Teacher Training with the Bay Area Center for Waldorf Teacher Training (BACWTT ) and worked as a German teacher at the East Bay Waldorf School in El Sobrante. Her knowledge of child development and her teaching experience deepened and enriched her osteopathic work with children tremendously.
With her move back into private practice Tosha is continuing to deepen her understanding of osteopathic principles studying Biodynamics with James Jealous. Additionally Tosha is attending the Heart-Mind Education Training with plans to teach mindfulness and meditation to grade school children. Tosha loves working with adults and children and is looking forward to meeting you.
